Open the attachments and follow any link to PCS-Tender, the PCS Postbox or another buyer-approved response route.

Use the source reference or OCID to keep later amendments, awards and related Find a Tender publication together.

No portal name proves that every relevant opportunity is present.
- Public Contracts Scotland
- The primary Scottish search: browse notices without an account; register free to express interest, access documents, create alerts and become visible for Quick Quotes.
- Find a Tender
- Also check Find a Tender for above-threshold and reserved procurements. It does not carry Scotland’s below-threshold catalogue.
- PCS-Tender or Postbox
- These can hold the tender documents and response workspace. The notice tells you which system the buyer has chosen.
- Buyer and award records
- Search buyer profiles and past notices to learn the published history, without treating it as proof of the next requirement.

Deadlines, lot rules, conditions and the response route live in the official notice and tender documents, not in an aggregator summary.

Keep the PCS reference, OCID and buyer name with your qualification notes so a correction or later award can be traced.
What Scout covers
Scout organises selected official records; it is not the official catalogue.
- Scout directly ingests the official Public Contracts Scotland OCDS API, as well as Find a Tender and Contracts Finder.
- That does not make Scout a complete Scottish catalogue: retained history is bounded, source fields can be incomplete and invitation-only activity may not appear as a public notice.
- A Find a Tender publication and a Public Contracts Scotland publication can describe connected activity; source identifiers are retained rather than one record silently replacing the other.
- Use the Public Contracts Scotland notice and its named response system before deciding to bid.
